Food waste quality control

Approved quality, but with remarks.  

Järfälla municipality has carried out a quality control of food waste: 

The control showed that the quality of the food waste was approved, but once again there were plastic bags and other bags that are not food waste bags. There is a risk of a surcharge for missorted waste, which entails additional costs for the association.

It is prohibited to use plastic bags. Only the brown food waste bags are approved. They can be collected from the bulky waste room at Månadsvägen 30 (open: Monday and Thursday 7:00-9:00 and 17:00-19:00) and at the Coop entrance on Veckovägen.

If your food waste bag leaks - then use double bags.
