Electricity / Individual Metering

BRF Smedby has its own system for sub-metering and billing of electricity consumption.

The savings come from having only one electricity subscription per building, which means we only pay one network subscription fee (the fixed electricity grid charge). In addition, the association benefits from a stronger negotiating position when signing new fixed-price electricity agreements due to our larger overall consumption volume.

This means that members of our association do not need to sign their own electricity contracts, as these are arranged by the association. The electricity consumed in each apartment is charged together with the monthly fee on the invoice.

We use Infometric AB for the measurement and billing of electricity consumption. Through their web portal, Panorama Home, each resident can monitor their electricity usage and compare it with similar households, which many find useful.

The Panorama Home app can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play Store.

To obtain a Panorama Home account, please email us at styrelsen@brfsmedby.se with the following information:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Apartment number: This is a 1 to 3-digit number (between 1 and 543) and can be found on your apartment door

Once we have received this information, you will receive a welcome email with an invitation to join Panorama Home.
